*Quiz #3* The quiz will cover the selected pages in the textbook from chapter 7 (Semantic and Episodic Memory), and chapter 8 (Skill Memory), and chapter 9 (Working Memory). The corresponding Handouts are #7, #8, and #9 (attached below). As with Quizzes 1 and 2 please note the following: book- Gluck, Mercado, and Meyers, Learning and Memory - From Brain to Behavior, 4th Edition, Worth Publishers, 2020, ISBN# 978-1-319-10738-3. Read in Chapter 7 of textbook, Pp.277 (First page of chapter) - p.281 bottom (stop at "Which comes first: Episodic...? ") Pp.284 (start at "Test Your Knowledge" box) - p.301 (stop at 7.2 Brain Substrates) Pp.304 (start at "The Medial Temporal Lobes") - p.310 (stop at "The Basal Forebrain") Read in Chapter 8 of textbook, Pp. 329-349 (Start at first page of chapter and end at subheading, “Learning Deficits after Lesions”) and Pp. 354-362 (start at subheading “Cortical Representations of Skills” and end at heading, “Clinical Perspectives” Read in Chapter 9 of textbook, Pp. 369 - 378 middle (start at beginning of chapter, and stop at subheading “Is Working Memory a state or Place”) Pp. 381 - 394 middle (start at heading “Cognitive Control” and stop at subheading “Divisions of the Prefrontal Cortex”) You will have 60 minutes to answer the 20 questions on the quiz. The 20 questions will be randomly selected from a pool that contains a larger number of questions (so no two students will receive the exact same quiz). The questions will be presented one at a time and there will be no backtracking. In order to move on to the next question you must submit (which automatically saves) your answer to the question on the screen you are currently viewing. You can tap in and out of the quiz and the Blackboard system will automatically save whatever you have entered so far, but will automatically close the quiz after 60 minutes. You'll need my log in for blackboard to complete this quiz
