Option A – Individual Work I want you to pretend to be a CYCP in the novel Scarb
Option A – Individual Work I want you to pretend to be a CYCP in the novel Scarborough assigned to work with one of the characters. Please choose the character that you are most drawn to – the character that you feel compelled by – and complete the following components of this paper. 1. A small one-paragraph introduction overviewing what you are about to explore in your paper. 2. Invent yourself into the novel as a CYCP. Offer a description of who you are as this CYCP in the book Scarborough. You might work alongside Hina, perhaps in the school, in the shelter, as a community-based worker, and/or as an in-home parent support worker. It is completely up to your imagination. In this component offer a description of who you are as this invented character – offer your backstory, your role, and the type of work that you do (approximately one to two paragraphs). 3. As this CYCP, assigned to work with your character, overview three theories and apply them to your character and the work you might do with them. For each theory used, please provide the following: a. A summary of that theory overviewing the main concepts, b. Explain how that theory helps you understand your chosen character, c. Examples of the work you might do with this character using that theory as a guide. (Each theory used should be about three paragraphs or one page – this component overall should be about three to four pages). Each paper should be between 4 and 6 double spaced 12-point font pages with approximate/suggested page allotment included above. Papers should be written in APA-6thformatting with proper citations incorporated. Theories to be used will be below. Please have access to the novel, as it must be a descriptive connection from the experinces the child faces to the course theory. I believe sylvie or laura are one of the easiest children to relate course concepts too
