Scenario: You are a member of SNHU’s champion debate club. You have had a successful season and are well on your way to the College Debate Bowl championship! Your team’s objective for this event will be to prepare a defense for a position on the following topic: Which impacts human behavior more: nature or nurture? In order to prepare for this event, the captain has asked team members to become well-rehearsed on positions in this argument. She has requested that you write a position paper to prepare for the upcoming debate. It contains resources to help you write a successful paper. Reading: Project One Milestone Review your completed milestone and your milestone feedback prior to starting your project. Directions: For your paper, you must address the rubric criteria listed below: Introductory Paragraph: Create a clear thesis statement that takes a position on whether nature or nurture has more impact on human behavior. Your introductory paragraph should be a minimum of 3 to 5 sentences. Body Paragraphs: Explain the influence of both nature and nurture and how they impact human behavior. Each body paragraph should be a minimum of 4 to 7 sentences. Body Paragraphs should also explain how at least one of the seven perspectives of psychology ( Neuroscience, Evolutionary, Behavior Genetics, Psychodynamic, Behavioral, Cognitive, and Social-Cultural) can support your argument. Each body paragraph should be a minimum of 4 to 7 sentences. Conclusion Paragraph: Summarize position on nature and nurture based on research. NB: All sources must be cited in APA 7th format.
