I would like your food and beverage intake using Cronometer for three typical days You are to enter everything that you consume for at least three day (you can do more). For example: if you have had a chicken sandwich, you can do a generic search for chicken sandwich OR to be more specific you can type in each item (bread, lettuce, mayo, cheese, chicken, ect) This is not meant to be an exact science. Please do your best to determine serving sizes and come as close as you can to find your items, as some foods may not be listed. Set up a profile by creating a free account. It will ask you for a 'goal' please choose 'maintain current weight' After you created a profile, use the food diary to enter your intake over the next 3 days :https://cronometer.com/ (Links to an external site.) Complete reflection questions. Bring them with you to class, you will need to turn them in. Each question should be in a COMPLETE sentence and answered in detail. Incomplete work will receive only partial credit. Section 1) 2 points A. What was your Basal Metabolic Rate (Goal calories) B. Discuss/analyze if you met your daily requirement for calories. C. What was your daily goal for protein/ carbs/ fat? Did you meet your intake for adequate protein requirements, carbohydrate requirements, fat requirements? Why or why not. Section 2) 2 points A. Discuss 3 foods that contributed to your greatest intake of sodium, what was the amount, and what substitutes could you suggest to improve your diet. B. List your Omega 3's and Omega 6 intake (mono and poly fats)- how much did you obtain of each nutrient C. Discuss 3 foods that contributed to your greatest intake of saturated fats, what were the amounts, what substitutes could you suggest to improve your diet. Section 3) 2 point A. List any and all deficiencies indicated in your report for your micronutrients? iron potassium fiber Vitamin A, B, C, D Magnesium Calcium B. What types of foods could you eat to accomplish meeting your nutrients? Be specific. Section 4) 2 point A. Discuss your exercise habits, looking back at your 3-day log. B. Do you think you are getting enough exercise for what you are eating? C. Are you getting at least 30 minutes in a day? D. What areas are you working to improve with your daily exercise? Section 5)2 point Discuss in 3-5 sentences what did you learn about your own diet and exercise by doing this project? Include YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD to verify food entry /reports in this section
