I am requesting a proposal 1 page and 2 - 5 page introduction with at least 3 scholary references Theoretical Project Option Research Introduction Your introduction must include the following elements: A brief problem statement. A brief overview of the topic from a historical and theoretical perspective. A brief statement of why the problem is significant. A statement on how this research will add to the body of knowledge in the field. A minimum of 3 scholarly references (do not use Wikipedia or books) The introduction should not exceed 2 pages (minimum 1 page). Format citations and references following current APA guidelines. Note: Information on current APA style requirements can be found in the Hunt Library. Review the Citing Sources & Style Manuals (Links to an external site.) website and the Current APA Style page. This option requires a comprehensive 12-17 page research paper on an instructor-approved topic of your choice, related to course outcomes (listed in your course syllabus). This learning exercise directs your attention to the primary research being conducted in the Information Systems (IS) field. It compels you to engage in reading and understanding some of the primary research literature, both printed and electronic. It will stimulate your critical thinking about the content of this research material and focuses your thinking on areas of professional appeal or personal interest. You will argue a formulated position about some specific research topic or content area. You will search for primary research sources which should support your argument, idea or hypothesis. Lastly, present a quality research paper that communicates your convictions, documents your position, and defends it with authoritative sources. The idea is to cover a new topic, a topic that needs updating, or a summary.
