In order to stay in business, some companies have had to downsize in the past few years, while others have had to grow.  Pick a company of your choice (existing or created by you). You are the Head of HR for this company.  In your paper, explain how you make your hiring decisions.  Come up with your HR Strategy and ensure that it aligns with the company’s overall Strategic plans.  Use business forecasting models to determine your workforce planning and company needs.  Apply qualitative concepts and quantitative techniques (analytical and excel-based) to design short (1 – 3 years)and long term (5 years and over) workforce plans for your company.  Discuss the significance of Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) to support H.R. planning (and development) methods.  Are your hiring decisions inclusive of candidates from different backgrounds? Is your interview process fair?  Use the textbook and slides extensively, but also feel free to use external resources (don’t forget to reference everything you use!)
