Essay #1: After watching the videos and reading about these in your textbook, please compare and contrast the eshnunna statuettes Standing Male Worshipper AND Akhenaten, Nefertiti and Three Daughters (you can read about Akhenaten and Nefertiti in your textbook on pp. 40-41) Compare and contrast the content and style of each work of art. In your essay, answer the following questions: What CIVILIZATION does each of these artworks come from? Who is depicted in each portrait? And how are these members of different societies different from each other? How does each portrait reflect what was important to that culture/civilization?
